Most guitar players are happy with their sound, but like a race car driver, they are always seeking that extra EDGE that pushes it over the top. The Nitro Tonal Booster now gives you that edge. The Nitro enhances a player’s articulation by soft compression means and offers over 22dB of gain for intense boosting.

Got an anemic sounding amp? With the Nitro, you’ll turn decent amp distortion into great amp distortion. The Nitro makes harmonic squeals easier to achieve and even broadens the capabilities of your pickups. This is one of the simplest tools you will ever find. A single control is provided for BOOST and a single switch kicks you into that hot zone.

The Boost control provides the level of enhancement and boost. Turning it clockwise increases the amount of “boost”. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the amount of boost.The Nitro works with a 9 Volt battery or with an optional 9VDC external power adaptor. The easy access battery compartment will make changing batteries during a gig a breeze. We also have equipped it with a super bright LED so you will know when the pedal is ON.

The Nitro Booster pedal usually sounds better when placed before all other stomp boxes in your signal chain. While it provides up to 22dB of boost, different amplifiers with different settings may sound better. For additional edge in chordal work or for enhanced articulation, we suggest using lower settings of the boost control. For your solos or special effects that you really want to “jump out” of the mix, try higher settings of the boost control.

More fun than hypnotizin’ chickens, Rocktron’s Hypnotic Flange takes modulation to a whole new level with some unique twists on the flanger pedal.

The ultra-cool “hypnotic mode” actually becomes a random low frequency oscillator! This random mode dances anywhere from an arpeggio sound to a randomized chorus sound.Trust us, you have never heard a flanger quite like the Hypnotic. We surprised even ourselves with this stomp box!

The Rate control sets the speed of the modulation, while Depth controls the intensity of the modulation. The Manual control changes the modulation delay time. Feedback control varies the regeneration of the modulated output. Trance randomizes the low frequency oscillator providing that great sonic twist we’re raving about! An FX/Level control is also provided, along with single input, mono/stereo output. The Hypnotic Flange is built into Rocktron’s heavy duty chassis and equipped with our easy-access battery compartment that makes changing batteries during a gig a breeze.

Flanger pedals usually sound better when placed after distortion in the signal chain. If using multiple pedal such as delays and other modulation effects, try the Hypnotic Flange in different parts of the signal chain until you find the sound you like best. Move over distortion pedals there is a new badass in the land. Rocktron reaches new heights with the Rampage Distortion pedal that pushes distortion to its outer limits!

This ear-shattering pedal is not for the weak! The Rampage is specifically designed for the players who want grungy/raunchy/ultra-high gain with endless sustain and very little noise.

What makes the Rampage so brutally offending is its special “Scoop” control. The Scoop allows a mid cut of up to 30dB, making any amp scream beyond its capacity. The Bass control adjusts the low frequency levels (+/- 15dB). The Treble control adjusts the high frequency levels (+/15dB). The Level control adjusts the overall volume level. The Sustain control adjusts the level of the distortion.

Special attention was given to the Rampage to allow up to 75dB of raging gain with amazingly low noise. Simply crank up the Sustain parameter, touch a note, and let the feedback and harmonics go!

The Rampage Distortion is housed in Rocktron’s rugged extruded aluminum chassis for rough riding on road trips.

Britain’s Guitar Magazine commented: “This is not a subtle pedal! The Sustain knob controls the amount of distortion, which goes from mild to extremely distorted, while the Level control applies a large amount of gain boost. The EQ is expansive; it’s a cutting high-end tone, and full sustain. The Rampage will turn the mildest, politest clean amp into a shred monster!”

Who would have thought that one day we would call a delay pedal: “retro”?

Why only a short time ago, (no pun intended), the digital delay was considered the greatest effect invention a guitarist could get his hands on. Like everything else in “excess-laden” America, delays had to be longer and longer. To that, Rocktron says, “nuts”. What if the player just wants to add some short, sweet, quick slapback-style delays to his sound? You remember slapbacks, don’t you? They ruled the 50’s and 60’s sound think Rockabilly and Hot Rod and Surf music. Well, going out on a limb here, Rocktron introduces the Short Timer Retro Digital Delay. And some of you are going to think this is cool!

With two modes of delay, called (and we made this up), “Short” and “Shorter” to provide a wide range of quick delays that are still the most widely used delay times even in modern music, the Short Timer will NOT stand up to those long delays for length. But then, we don’t want it to. Some like it short and sweet.

The Level control on the Short Timer adjusts the overall volume of the delay effect. The Regeneration control adjusts the number of repetitions of delay effect. The Time control adjusts the length of delay and is used in conjunction with the Short/Shorter Switch. When the switch is out, (or in the Short position), the delay time in milliseconds is set between 200ms and 400ms. When the switch is in, (or in the Shorter position), the delay time in milliseconds is set between 0ms and 200ms. The actual delay time is then adjusted using the previously mentioned Time control.

Digital delay pedals usually sound better when placed after distortion. Thus, if you are using a distortion pedal, place the Short Timer after the distortion pedal in the signal chain. If you are using your amplifier’s distortion, try putting the Short Timer in the effects loop section of the amplifier, (following the instructions in your amp manual when using the effects loop).

For distorted rhythm playing, set the Short Timer Delay to “Shorter” and the delay level and regeneration levels low. For distorted lead playing, set the delay to “Short” and bump up the delay level and the regeneration level to your taste. For chicken-pickin type delay, set the delay level to “Shorter” and bump up the delay level and regeneration level slightly.

The Short Timer is built into Rocktron’s super tough road worthy extruded aluminum chassis. This pedal is equipped with a super bright blue LED so you will know when the pedal is on. The original Banshee has served countless players over the years with a modern version of the talkbox. You’ve heard a talkbox used on many famous recordings, from classic rock (Aerosmith, Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton) to contemporary rock (Bon Jovi, Disturbed) to hip hop recordings and more.

The Banshee models provide easy setup (unlike vintage style talkboxes which are cumbersome to hook up and can potentially damage your gear by blowing up your amp head). What makes the Banshees so unique is the included internal preamp, amplifier, and horn driver. Simply plug into the Banshee as you would any common stomp box, and run the provided “tubing” up the mic stand and into your mouth. The Celestial Delay provides over 1 second of delay time in a classic analog design that mimics the retro analog tape delays of yesteryear without the hiss and noise. You get smooth and seamless time shifting and regeneration.No stuttering here with smooth delay time control shifting. This Rocktron Artist Uses…

Avant-garde metal band, iwrestledabearonce are Rocktron endorsers and utilize several HUSH Super C’s in their setups.

Iwrestledabearonce is an American heavy metal band formed in 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and currently based in Birmingham, Alabama. They have released one EP and one full-length album, and have toured with acts such as August Burns Red, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Human Abstract, Blessthefall, Fact, Greeley Estates, Sea of Treachery, Enter Shikari, Winds of Plague, All Shall Perish, Vanna and Horse the Band.

Iwrestledabearonce were formed in 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana as the first in the local avant-garde metal movement (along with such bands as Ballet Brutality and Scared of the Dark).The origin of the band’s name was inspired by a comment that Gary Busey had said on Comedy Central. They signed to Tragic Hero Records and released their debut EP Iwrestledabearonce EP through the label. Afterwards they signed to Century Media and released their debut full-length album It’s All Happening on June 2, 2009 in the USA and August 31, 2009 in European stores.

In June through September 2008, their single, “Tastes Like Kevin Bacon” appeared on the Sirius Hard Attack radio station “Devils Dozen” list as high as #4 in the 12 most requested songs.

It’s All Happening reached #1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #122 on the Billboard 200 chart.

They embarked on their second venture outside of the US in October 2009. The “2009 Imperial Never Say Die” club tour which was sponsored by Imperial Clothing and Jägermeister in the UK and Europe with Architects, Despised Icon, As Blood Runs Black, Horse the Band, Oceano and The Ghost Inside In December 2009 they were headliners in a US/Canada tour (The Tour That Stole Christmas) with Miss May I, Inhale Exhale and Of Machines. Iwrestledabearonce have been selected for the 2010 Van’s Warped Tour and will participate from July 20 until August 15, 2010. Iwrestledabearonce also toured with bands Eyes Set To Kill, Sky Eats Airplane, Chelsea Grin, The Chariot and Vanna headlining the ‘GhostBusTour 2010’.

In 2010, the band rereleased It’s All Happening as a 3-disc special edition that includes the regular album, a remix album, and a DVD.

During the summer of 2009, the band decided to relocate to Birmingham, Alabama.

In November of 2010 on their official Facebook page, they stated they will release a new full-length album on Century Media in 2011 As of November 19, 2010, two songs have already been completed.They have also released a free 5-track remix EP titled It’s All Dubstep.

Yes, the control is actually called “Awaken”. SHREIK controls the treble while ROAR provides low end control. FIRE handles the initial distortion drive level of the 12AX7.The second made, called SLAYER, features a mixed-in combination of the 12AX7 distortion with the solid state distortion driving the tube together.

For that tube sound you love, the Silver Dragon rams a 12AX7. Here is where you AWAKEN the beast and drive the tube sound.

popular artists like Gary Hoey, Neil Zaza, and more. These presets were submitted to us by
VooDu Valve owners from all over the world and are found in our revolutionary Patch Bay. the worlds first
downloadable presets for guitar players!
The VooDu Valve is the first preamp in Rocktron
history to combine our world renowned DSP effects processing with tube technology. The
VooDu will define new standards, giving you the warmth and clarity of your favorite old
“plexi” or “pre-CBS” combo in a convenient single-rack package. What
makes the VooDu Valve unique is that you can choose “high” and “low”
tube gain selections depending on how much tube break-up you want for your application. If
you want an ultra-clean tone with a sharp edge and minimal distortion, select
“low” tube gain presets. If your tone requires a tinge of dirt, dial up
“high” tube gain selections and run minimal digital distortion to get natural
medium-saturated tones reminiscent of a maxed out half stack. And for you
“gain-heads”, run “high” tube gain with digital clipping…you have to
hear this!
The preamp section also contains many totally usable
features such as Variac, Triode, Pentode and Solid State voicings. With a four band full
parametric post EQ section and comprehensive pre EQ section, you will never run into a
dead-end when EQing your presets (as you will with bargain preamps). The possibilities are
endless. – effects on the VooDu Valve will not wash out your tone or leave you waiting
while switching presets. They sound amazingly close to many of your favorite analog pedals
without the hassle. Effects include two-tap chorusing, dual- mode phaser, two-tap flanger,
compression, frequency programmable wah-wah, tremolo, reverb, echo-like delay featuring
unique tap tempo mode, pitch shift, and HUSH® noise reduction placed after the preamp and
before the effects where it should be, (no noise reduction after the effects as you find
with cheaper, noisier preamps).
Of course, the VooDu Valve is studio and stage ready with
XLR balanced outs (with level control) and 1/4″ outs. Speaker simulation is taken to
an art form on this preamp since it provides parameters for techniques commonly used by
sound engineers, including mic placement, speaker size selection and our patented
Reactance parameter. All MIDI functions have been employed including eight parameter
continuous control and mapping. Plug into our new All Access® foot controller and many
new time-saving MIDI extras will come to light, such as pre-assigned effect controller
on/off functions, boost option and titles that automatically transfer from the VooDu Valve
to the All Access.

Guitar virtuoso Mike Orlando has teamed up with Rocktron to produce a unique new wah pedal, the Rocktron Mike Orlando Signature Wah.

Working with Mike, Rocktron developed three custom voiced settings for the Signature Wah, with the Classic setting with its “vintage” wah effect being the most used by Orlando. The Normal setting provides a more modern frequency sweep. The Bass setting is not only ideal for seven string guitars (as well as bass guitars), but also provides a new dimension to the standard wah effect on regular six string guitars.

A wah “Mix” control allows the user to mix any amount of wah effect to the direct signal. When turned full to the “Wah” side, the wah effect is 100% in the signal. When turned to the “Clean” side, the wah effect is at the minimum amount of the mix. With the control at 12 o’clock, the wah effect and dry signal are at 50/50 mix.

This mix feature is specifically designed for a more expressive use of the wah, other than simple “wah-wahing”, as it allows the player to add higher frequencies and lower frequencies to the overall tone, thus allowing the player to use it rhythmically as well rather than just for solo use.

The Mike Orlando signature wah contains an easy access battery compartment. The Rocktron DC OnTap Universal Power Supply can also be used to power the wah.

Like other Rocktron wah pedals, the Mike Orlando Signature Wah is stage ready. An adjustable rocker tension screw is provided that allows you to adjust the action for a lighter or heavier “touch”.
