Rocktron’s MANUAL LIBRARY

Rocktron’s MANUAL LIBRARY

Rocktron Manual
Library
The manuals are available in three formats;

Adobe® Acrobat® PDF file – The newer manuals are available
in Adobe’s Acrobat PDF format which are viewable and printable EXACTLY like the original
manual. This requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available for any computer format
and it is free to download
and install on your computer. Once you have installed the Acrobat Reader, clicking on a
manual’s PDF File will download the file and spawn the reader. From the reader, you may
read the manual and/or print it out. If you wish to save the manual, be sure to save it to
disk when prompted by your browser.
An on-line version – Choose an On-Line version to
immediately view a manual and it’s graphics while on line. These manuals are large
documents and may take a few moments to down load. It may be best to allow the document to
finish loading before scrolling. Each line in the table of contents is a link. It will
allow you to jump to the described part of the manual rather then scrolling.
A .zip file – These .zip files contain the entire manual
including graphics in HTML (Web browser) format. First, create a folder or directory to
save the .zip file in. Choose the ZIP File of the product manual you would like to
download and save it in the new folder or directory. Un-zip the .zip file into the same
folder/directory you downloaded it to. This will extract the document and image files
contained within. Use your Web browser to open the man*.htm file, which is the
actual document file for the manual. This will allow you to view the manual and it’s
graphics with your web browser at anytime without getting on line! If you’re having trouble finding something when viewing these manuals, try
using Netscape’s handy search feature. Just type in a keyword and Netscape will jump to
that word.

Velocity 300
Rocktron has been designing power amplifiers specifically for guitar players since the early 1990’s. The Velocity 300 is the latest in our line of Velocity power amps.

Buy Online

The Velocity 300 provides 150 watts/channel when used in stereo applications or 300 watts mono bridged into a 8 ohm load! The Velocity 300 has a unique “Reactance” circuit that actually replicates the output impedance of tube amplifiers—so you can get the same great sound that a tube amplifier delivers in a reliable solid state design. And, because it is a variable control, you can customize your Velocity 300 to sound like any of your favorite tube amps. Best of all, this feature is available in the mono bridged mode too!In addition, the Velocity 300 has “Definition” controls to give you that little bit of edge you need to bring your playing out in the mix. It also has automatic short circuit protection, which detects problems and shuts down the amplifier before any internal damage can be done.Other Features:115/230 VAC voltage selector switch. An AC power detect circuit, which ensures that the amplifier outputs shut down first when AC is removed. This will guard against any thumps or pops that could otherwise occur, potentially damaging speakers when power is cut to the amplifier.Differential input buffers to eliminate ground loop hum coming from the power amp

If you aren’t using the HUSH, you aren’t using real noise reduction for guitar. When used properly, the HUSH will wipe out hiss, unwanted feedback and pickup buzz. The HUSH pedal delivers 65dB of signal cleanup, while your music signal integrity remains unaffected. In other words, get rid of the noise without altering your tone!Guitar Player Magazine wrote that the “HUSH Pedal will work for all guitar-related noise problems: it’s perfect” and “its potent noise-killing abilities will be fully appreciated.”  Simply plug the HUSH in AFTER distortion boxes, wah-wahs, noisy vintage effects, or other noisy units and turn the Threshold knob until the noise goes away.  It’s that easy! You will not find a more effective noise reduction.  Unlike noise “gates” that chop off the end of your notes, or ruin your sustain, HUSH the Pedal is actually a form of single-ended noise reduction that tracks your signal all the way and pushes the noise floor below the point where your ear can hear the noise.  It does not hurt your sustain or chop off the end of your notes.   Simply use the Threshold knob to smooth out your signal while wiping out noise. This is the best friend a guitar player could have! Now hold on, partner. You must pay attention to the proper setup, with the HUSH pedal going AFTER your noisy stomp boxes. The HUSH is not designed to take the input directly from your guitar WITHOUT some processing happening between the guitar and the HUSH noise reduction. When setup correctly, with your signal going from your preamp and effects, or from your distortion and effects, into the HUSH, you WILL be amazed at how it will clean up the excess noise, including pickup buzz! The HUSH can also be used in your amplifier’s effects loop. However, if you are running multiple effects through this loop, the HUSH should always be the last dynamic device in the signal chain, but before digital delays or reverbs. The HUSH pedal incorporates the latest version of the HUSH discreet circuitry which also includes Rocktron’s patented Variable Integrated Release (V.I.R.) technology. V.I.R. technology utilizes a low-noise VCA with precision detector circuits to achieve the smoothest and most transparent noise reduction possible.
