If your answer is YES, then welcome to Rocktron’s PATCH BAY! Dock your MIDI ship here and consider this your port-of-call for new presets. This page features new factory presets as well as submissions from Rocktron users.
What do I need?
An IBM-compatible machine with a MIDI-compatible soundcard. (Sorry, no support for Mac yet)
Windows 3.1x or better (Works with Windows 95)
A computer MIDI cable
The freeware program called DUMPSTER
A compression utility to zip and unzip preset.syx files as well as the Dumpster program

Download the freeware program dumpster.zip (90KB)
If you don’t have a zip/unzip program, visit TUCOWS Ultimate Collection of Winsock Software. First you will select the location nearest you. Then select Windows 3.x or Windows 95 Utilities. Next, Click on Compression Utilities. You may choose from several freeware and shareware compression utilities to download. I Recomend WinZip.
How do I install and run these programs?
First Install WinZip or the compression utility of your choice (if you don’t already have one)
Unzip the dumpser.zip file into it’s own directory.
Set up an icon for it in your Program Manager or Start Menu.
Click on the icon and open the dumpster program (it will prompt for a specific MIDI device, just click ok twice)
Read the dumpster help file to familiarize yourself with the program (It’s super simple!).
How do I transfer presets?
You may download preset.zip files from our Preset Library for the Rocktron unit you own.
Unzip the preset.zip file. The preset zip file will contain files with the extention .syx. These are individual presets that may be loaded into your unit one at a time to the preset location of your choice.
Follow the instructions in your Rocktron User’s Manual for the MIDI DUMP/LOAD Function of your Rocktron unit .
Treat the Dumpster program like the sequencer in the step-by-step instructions in your Manual. You may also find these instructions right here on line by visiting our Manual Library!
NOTE: You can also use Dumpster to archive all your custom presets by performing a bulk dump to Dumpster!!!
