Guitar virtuoso Mike Orlando has teamed up with Rocktron to produce a unique new wah pedal, the Rocktron Mike Orlando Signature Wah.

Working with Mike, Rocktron developed three custom voiced settings for the Signature Wah, with the Classic setting with its “vintage” wah effect being the most used by Orlando. The Normal setting provides a more modern frequency sweep. The Bass setting is not only ideal for seven string guitars (as well as bass guitars), but also provides a new dimension to the standard wah effect on regular six string guitars.A wah “Mix” control allows the user to mix any amount of wah effect to the direct signal. When turned full to the “Wah” side, the wah effect is 100% in the signal. When turned to the “Clean” side, the wah effect is at the minimum amount of the mix. With the control at 12 o’clock, the wah effect and dry signal are at 50/50 mix.This mix feature is specifically designed for a more expressive use of the wah, other than simple “wah-wahing”, as it allows the player to add higher frequencies and lower frequencies to the overall tone, thus allowing the player to use it rhythmically as well rather than just for solo use.The Mike Orlando signature wah contains an easy access battery compartment. The Rocktron DC OnTap Universal Power Supply can also be used to power the wah.Like other Rocktron wah pedals, the Mike Orlando Signature Wah is stage ready. An adjustable rocker tension screw is provided that allows you to adjust the action for a lighter or heavier “touch”.

Guitar World Magazine has awarded their GOLD AWARD to Rocktron for the Patchmate Loop 8 Floor unit controller. 07/15/2010

Reviewer Chris Gill had given a good review to the Rocktron Patchmate Loop 8 rack mount unit in 2009, and now in 2010 he has reviewed the Loop 8 Floor, a slightly newer version of the Patchmate product which featues 8 footswitches in a floor package. Gill wrote that the Patchamte Loop 8 Floor is a “powerful controller” that helps maintian “pristine sound quality no matter how complicated” the rig. Zombie Rectified Distortion

Add a new
dimension to your sound with Rocktron’s Zombie
Rectified Distortion stompbox!
You’ll swear
your sound gets right up and walks out of your
cabinet! With an absolutely monstrously heavy
sound, the Zombie creates a rectified asymmetric
distortion with user control of the symmetry
balance of the distortion output waveform. In
essence, this creates the psycho-acoustic 3D
sound positioning effect that will make your
sound jump out of the cab.The Zombie gives you
distortion that cuts through the mix, plus two
bands of EQ.

A control called STARE
adjusts the symmetry of the distortion. Turning
the control clockwise increases the symmetry
offset of the distortion waveform, while counter-clockwise
decreases the asymmetry of the distortion. The SCREAM
control adjusts the rectified distortion. Use the
LOUDER control to adjust the
overall output of the Zombie pedal. BASS
control adjusts the bass frequencies and TREBLE
control adjusts the overall treble frequencies.
The ON LED will
light when the Zombie is active. The Zombie is a
great choice when used with an ALL TUBE guitar
amplifier to deliver rectified distortion. It can
take a plain sounding TUBE amp and produce
rectified distortion that rivals the sound of the
most expensive amplifiers in this class. This
monstrously heavy sound will cut through the mix
and deliver amazing tone! The Zombie features
Rocktrons easy-access battery compartment
to make changing batteries during a gig a breeze.
